Ash Wednesday Service

Ash Wednesday, February 22, will kick-off Lent: a forty day journey of prayer, repentance and fasting.

It's a time for us as a community to inventory our souls, to get real with God and ask for his spirit to search us and clean the junk out of our lives. This journey of soul searching begins on Ash Wednesday where we gather together and identify with our mortality by receiving the imposition of the ashes.  This will be a simple and shortened service, so please bring your family.

Please plan to join us on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center and please be praying about what you will give up or take on for these forty days. Our hope is that as we expose our lives to God through this season that he will respond in a miraculous way and bring revival to our hearts.

Kidzone is available for IBC's Ash Wednesday Service. Check-in will start at 6:15 p.m., but children need to be checked in NO later than 6:45 p.m. Kidzone will end at 8:30 p.m., and children must be picked up no later than 8:45 p.m. Please register your child at least 48 hours in advance.
