High School Mission trip to Navajo Indian Reservation

Navajo Indian Reservation (Apache, Arizona)

This summer we will travel to the Navajo nation which encompasses much of New Mexico and Arizona. The native population of the Southwest has suffered under the weight of extreme poverty, racism, substance abuse and political corruption. But they are also alive with their stories, culture, art and dance. We will spend a week amongst the Navajo learning about their culture and history and serving them with all that we can give.
