(more than this) a study of the Gospel of John

Spring Bible Study 2010

Starts: Monday, January 11 or Tuesday, January 12

Is this all there is? Going through the motions. Overwhelming obstacles and circumstances. Feeling stuck and exhausted. Jesus promised us full and abundant life both now and in eternity. So, why doesn't life always seem full and abundant?

more than this: A Study of the Gospel of John will help us uncover how to start living more fully alive. There is more than this!

Registration for the spring semester is $20 and includes your book.

If you will be bringing your children with you to the Bible study, you will need to register them for KidZone. You will have the opportunity to register your kids when you register for Bible Study. Please note that on Monday evenings children in 2nd grade - 5th grade will be in Zone 6:30, a Bible study for kids. There is a registration fee of $25 for this excellent program which includes a t-shirt, study guide and activities.

If you were in the Detox fall bible study, please DO NOT register again.  You are already registered and will be with your same small group for the spring.

Why Women’s Bible Study?

"As I have studied the Bible with other women, I have grown to see God’s love through them. God has used relationships with women to bring me closer to him. Having a sisterhood has helped me through hard times as I could lean on others to pray for me and give words of encouragement. So studying the Bible with women is about fellowship that I need in order to stay close to the Lord. " -- Felicia, age 33

"When I started women’s Bible study here, I did not know my group, nor was I in the same life stage as any of them, but we connected in a really cool way since we were all coming from different places. I found my group to be an endless amount of care, hugs, laughs, snacks and encouragement. And the Bible study was written in a very thoughtful and thought-provoking way." -- Karen, age 25

"Studying the Bible is the way to learn about God and his amazing love. The more we study, the closer we are drawn to him and we begin to see life and people through his eyes. I have loved my experience with women’s Bible study. It encourages me in my Christian walk, and I have made many new friends that I probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to make otherwise. I consider this a very special blessing." -- Betty age 79

"For me it has been life changing. And I don't say that lightly. I am a different person because of the women I have learned from and grown with. I have found lifelong friends. In this study, I have started to evolve into the God's Girl that I was meant to be. I can't wait to see how I turn out. And women understand the importance of enjoying a great piece of chocolate while reading God's word." – Nisha, age 35

"I love the fact that our Bible study is all women. Even though we are all very different and have different backgrounds, the fact that we are all women makes it feel safer sharing and learning from each other. It is such a well-wounded environment where you have the opportunity to socialize but more importantly learn and grow in God’s word." -- Rosa, age 29
