“The class taught my daughter and me how to communicate better. It was great the way they incorporated the kids’ classes to coincide with the adults’ class subjects. Now we talk about everything the same way.” - Kelly
“It was instrumental in helping us establish an effective, loving, one-parent family for us, and in helping us understand and deal with the emotional stages through divorce, different personality types and how to best deal with them, and how your brain works, and the importance of maintaining a positive outlook.” - Theresa
“As a participant in “One Parent Plus Kids,” I have been encouraged in many ways. Being a single parent is very challenging, but I am grateful for programs at IBC that help to keep me encouraged. The people that work with the program have a heartfelt approach towards the families, which makes me feel welcomed. I have, in fact, invited other single parents I know, and they share a similar response. I feel this is one of the best ministries at IBC, and I thank God for everyone who works hard to make it possible.” - Aqueelah
