Ever wondered what happened between Bible times and today’s church? Come and learn about the triumphs and tribulations of God’s people throughout the ages. See the Spirit of God at work guiding and growing the Church, and be encouraged seeing Him works through saints great and small, just like us.
Objectives:
Upon completion of this learning experience, the participant will be able to:
- Point to the major turning points in church history from the apostles to today.
- Link the events of today in light to what problems the Church has faced in the past.
- See that God has been continually faithful to His Bride, the Church.
- Rest in the knowledge that God will continue his faithfulness until Christ returns.
What this learning experience is and isn’t:
- Participative learning, not lecturing
- Learning together in community, not independently
- Lots of opportunities to practice, not passive consumption
- Concentrated on what you will be able to say/do, not what the instructor says/does
