Description:
Grow and practice the skills necessary to effectively lead a small group of people meeting regularly together for Christian purposes. Learn to lead group life, fellowship, discussions, and conflict resolution.
Objectives:
Upon completion of this learning experience, participants will be able to:
- lead start-up for a Christian small group
- lead development of fellowship and community for a Christian small group
- lead discussions for a Christian small group
- lead group life for a Christian small group
- lead conflict resolution for a Christian small group
- lead growth and change for a Christian small group
What this learning experience is and isn’t:
- Participative learning, not lecturing
- Learning together in community, not independently
- Lots of opportunities to practice, not passive consumption
- Concentrated on what you will be able to say/do, not what the instructor says/does
Your role:
