The Idea

What is it?
A movement of THE CHURCH in Dallas coming together to serve our local communities, bringing a little bit of heaven to earth.

When is it?
The inaugural event is on May 1 and 2, 2010. IBC will be participating on May 1st only.

Who’s involved?
Congregations of all sizes, denominations and ethnicities across the Metroplex, as well as World Vision and FC Dallas.

Why are we doing it?
To bring the life force of Jesus to a broken world and to give glory and credit to our loving God. Our Hope is that this weekend will be a catalyst for long term, relational, intentional service –‐ A way of life –‐ for IBCers looking to Join the Mission, that we will experience the power of serving together in Christ’s name, and that the community will see that The Church cares about them.

How can I get involved?
Want to be a part of goandbe at IBC? Sign up for a project with one of our partners at the kiosks in town square on April 11th or 18th after the services. You can also Click to email for more information.

How does it work?
Many churches across the Metroplex have scheduled their own projects to serve our community on this same day. 
For IBCers, you just need to:
Sign up for a project in town square on April 11th or 18th and take an info sheet about your chosen project.
Show up back in town square at 9am on May 1st for prayer. 
Follow your team leader to your place of service. We should wrap up the day by 2 or 3pm.
