A big turnout and a show of unity from about 30 groups is putting a fledgling effort to help the homeless on track, organizers said Thursday.
Representatives from groups including the Salvation Army, Brighter Tomorrows, the Irving Healthcare Foundation, area churches and the city gathered officially for only the second time to iron out differences and form goals.
