Dear IBC Family,

The national, state, and local response to the COVID-19 crisis continues to evolve, and so does ours here at Irving Bible Church. Here’s what we want you to know:

  • Our worship services will continue to be online only on Sunday at 9 & 10:45 a.m.
  • Our building remains closed to the public—congregants and guests
  • All our previously scheduled in-person ministry and event programming is on hiatus until further notice.

We’re hoping and praying for an end to this crisis, but until then we’ll continue to operate within these measures. Because we can’t all be together in person, we hope you will join us Sunday morning as we live-stream our worship services at irvingbible.org/livestream and on Facebook Live. For those of you with smart TVs, you can also download the Facebook Watch app or the YouTube app and search “Irving Bible Church” to stream our services on those platforms.

Whatever platform you prefer, make plans to worship alongside family or friends and set an alert on your Calendar or Reminders app!

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, Barry Jones and our staff will lead a devotional each weekday journeying through the Gospel of John. Monday through Friday for the next four weeks, we'll begin at about 8:30 a.m. on Facebook Live with a passage for the day, a few devotional thoughts, and some live interaction. Here's what you need to do to engage with this series:

  1. Make sure you've Liked the IBC Facebook Page
  2. Set a weekday calendar alert or reminder for 8:30 a.m.
  3. Watch the live devotional using the Facebook app on your phone or tablet, facebook.com/irvingbible on your computer, or download the Facebook Watch app on your smart TV
  4. Read along with the plan found on this post.

We’re looking forward to connecting with you in the weeks to come.

God is still God. He is still good. And he is not surprised by or fearful of this situation. We believe that now, as always, he is at work and inviting us to join him in that work. We are still his church, even as our building is closed and our regular programming is on hold, and so that is what we will be.

Thank you for praying with us and staying connected with us. We will continue to communicate via email, social media, and irvingbible.org as this situation develops.
