Care Group Launch

Have grief, divorce, abuse, or loss created places of distrust, loss of hope, or an inability to move forward into deeper places of transformation? IBC has a safe place to process your loss in one of our Care Groups.
Hope & Healing at IBC is grateful to be able to offer the following Care Groups this fall:
DivorceCare– a video-based care group for adults who have experienced divorce or separation. This group offers a workbook for your own personal reflection, and discussion opportunities to process your losses. We meet at 6:30 on Thursday evenings beginning August 27 in Adult Ed A. Register HERE.
GriefShare – a video-based care group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. This group offers a workbook for your own personal reflection, and discussion opportunities to process your losses. We meet at 6:30 on Wednesday evenings beginning September 2 in Adult Ed E. Mending the Soul – a safe and compassionate small group for women to take a comprehensive look at how abuse has affected us and how to continue healing from those abuses. This group has both a text book and a personal workbook designed to help integrate all we are learning. We meet at 6:30 on Wednesday evenings beginning August 26 in the Conference Room. Complicated Grief – a group designed just for adults who have experienced the suicide loss of a loved one. This group offers a short book to process through and opportunity for discussion and sharing our personal stories, as well as processing our multi-layered grief. We meet on Thursday afternoons at 2pm beginning September 10 in Adult Ed A. (however, we are flexible to adjust this timeframe to accommodate the majority of those participating). Register HERE.
Living Grace – an online group for those who live with depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. This group is facilitated by a trained leader through the Mental Health Grace Alliance to best accommodate the date and time that works for you. Family Grace – an online group for families whose loved one is living with mental health challenges. This group is facilitated by a trained leader through the Mental Health Grace Alliance to best accommodate the date and time that works for you. Longevity Labs – a once-a-month gathering of those 55+ providing information relative to our age and stage of life. This group meets on the 2nd Wednesday morning of every month from 10am-11:30am in the Alcove. No registration is required.
Coming in January….Embrace Life – a small group designed just for single moms to provide learning opportunities and community. Registration will open in November.
