A Letter From Barry
Dear IBCer,
Every day, people come to Irving Bible Church searching for something.
“I was looking for community.” “I had an addiction I needed to deal with.” “The stresses of work were weighing on me.”
These are just a few of the stories we hear, and they reflect challenges people in our community are facing right now. Whether it’s struggling to pay bills, raising kids in an increasingly complex world, or wrestling with doubt, many are walking through hard seasons alone.
But together we can change that.
At IBC, we’re committed to meeting people right where they are — with resources for families with special needs, addiction recovery programs, pastoral care, financial assistance, and so much more. Every day, we’re creating spaces where physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are seen and cared for. Every day, we’re pointing people to Jesus.
And it’s only possible because of you.
As we close this year, would you consider giving an additional gift above and beyond your normal giving?
Your generosity can make a big difference in the lives of people right here in our community.
Imagine if more people could walk out of our building saying, “I found peace,” or “I found hope,” because of what God is doing here, through the people of IBC.
Together, we can show our community that they are not alone. Together, we can bring Jesus to a broken and hurting world.
Excited to do this work, together.
Barry Jones Senior Pastor
