Discipleship
Discipleship at IBC exists to equip the IBC community to abide in Christ, grow in spiritual maturity, live on mission, and encourage others to do the same.
Discipleship Cohort
If you’re a follower of Jesus, God wants to do transforming work in and through you. In a Discipleship Cohort, you’ll find a community of belonging that will help you pursue holistic Christlikeness, exploring what it looks like to love God with your heart, soul, strength, and mind. You can sign up on your own, with a friend or spouse, or as an existing small group. Our next Cohorts kick off in September 2025 and will meet on Sunday afternoons through June.
Formation Groups
Ready to get plugged into community right now? Instead of waiting for the next Cohort, sign up to be matched with an existing Formation group — or help form a new one! While all Formation groups will eventually participate in the Cohort experience together, you can jump into a group at any time throughout the year for a place to build connections, serve, and have fun.
1-on-1 Mentorship
At Irving Bible Church, we believe transformation happens in the context of relationships. Our Mentorship Ministry facilitates intentional, one-on-one relationships where people can be deeply known, prayed for, and encouraged as they walk with Jesus. Whether you’re looking for someone to walk with you through a tough season, or you want to invest in someone younger in the faith, mentorship is a space to flourish. It’s low-barrier, high-impact, and rooted in the love and example of Christ.
