Discipleship Cohort

If you’re a follower of Jesus, God wants to do transforming work in and through you. In a Discipleship Cohort, you’ll find a community that will help you pursue holistic Christlikeness, learning and exploring what it looks like to love God with your heart, soul, strength, and mind.

Over ten months, cohorts meet weekly through a rhythm of in person teaching, discussion, and home gatherings designed to help you grow in your relationship with God and others.

You can sign up on your own, with a friend or spouse, or as an existing small group. Our next Cohorts kick off in September 2026 and will meet on Sunday afternoons through June. Register now

Formation Groups

Ready to go deeper with community? These local, in person groups are formed to build community, serve and spur one another along in faith. So, gather up your friends you want to grow with and reach out for resources to get started.

Don’t know who to form a group with? Formation Groups are often formed by participating in our Cohort. Sign up for this 10-month experience to be paired with a group. However, if scheduling prohibits participation in our Cohort, we would love to work with you to start or connect with an existing group!

1-on-1 Mentorship

At Irving Bible Church, we believe transformation happens in the context of relationships. Our Mentorship Ministry facilitates intentional, one-on-one relationships where people can be deeply known, prayed for, and encouraged as they walk with Jesus. Whether you’re looking for someone to walk with you as you grow, or you want to invest in someone younger in the faith, mentorship is a space to flourish. It’s low-barrier, high-impact, and rooted in the love and example of Christ. If you need help with a difficult season of life, check our help page for resources.
